MARY: ANNOUNCEMENTS: COT: Exodus 8 shows that Pharaoh recognized the frogs were unbearable, yet when Moses gave him the choice of when to ask for relief, Pharaoh said, “Tomorrow.” Like Pharaoh, we can tolerate pain, sin, and bondage longer than we should—sometimes even adding to the mess ourselves instead of seeking God’s help. We all have “frogs” in our lives: hidden sins, destructive habits, shame, fear, anger, pornography, alcohol, pride, isolation, lust, dishonesty, financial irresponsibility, workaholism, gambling, bitterness, comparison, anxiety, and the need to control. Some of these struggles may have grown because we tried to manage them in our own strength—like Pharaoh’s magicians, who could only add more frogs but could not remove them. But we do not have to wait until tomorrow. God is present today. He is greater than the sin that has multiplied, the habit that feels entrenched, and the shame that keeps us silent. The stench of yesterday’s frogs does not have to rule the rest of your life. 2 Corinthians 6:2 declares, “Now is the time of God’s favor, now is the day of salvation.” The first step may be to bring your struggle honestly to God and to share it with a trusted brother, pastor, counselor, etc. James 5:16 James 5:16 “Therefore confess your sins to each other and pray for each other so that you may be healed. The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective.” Do not say tomorrow when God is inviting you to freedom today. Bring the frogs into the light. Ask God for help. Let trusted people walk with you. God can remove what you cannot conquer alone. @Ray gun praying for your endurance as you are supporting your wife, kids, mother in law and father in law. Praying Galatians 6: 8-9: … whoever sows to please the Spirit, from the Spirit will reap eternal life. 9 Let us not become weary in doing good, for at the proper time we will reap a harvest if we do not give up. 10 Therefore, as we have opportunity, let us do good to all people, especially to those who belong to the family of believers. @Doodles wants to modify his Friday bible study to be content he is crating about manhood. He wants it to be authentic, a blessing to the men in the group, but not take it personal if the content isn’t what everyone wants. Praying Psalm 139 over you: For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. 14 I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well… How precious to me are your thoughts, God! How vast is the sum of them! 18 Were I to count them, they would outnumber the grains of sand—when I awake, I am still with you. @Vicksburg. Praying that he will not have anxious or fear based thoughts. Praying Philipans 4:6-7 over you: Be anxious for nothing, but in everything by prayer and supplication, with thanksgiving, let your requests be made known to God; 7 and the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds through Christ Jesus. @Sunshine is asking for wisdom how to minister to his brother in law, set healthy boundaries, and support him in a God honoring way. Praying Isaiah 41:10: So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
