WARMUP: Jog to the field. That’s it. We had poor decisions to make. THE THANG: 10-20-30-40-50 down the field. Upper/Core: Burpees, Merkins, Big Boys, American Hammers, Shoulder Taps Lower: Jump Squats, Reverse Lunges, Squats, Squat Jacks, Mountain Climbers 50-yard travel back to the goal line + 1 lap Indian Run between sets. Bear crawls were involved. Regret followed. MARY: ⚡ Thunderstruck Circle plank. Push-up every time AC/DC said “Thunder.” Hold plank for everything else. This was a terrible idea. ANNOUNCEMENTS: @Milton trying to promote a 50k again 😂 COT: Leading right starts with showing up. I’m naturally drawn to the path of least resistance. Comfort feels good, but I’ve learned where it takes me. Comfort leads to boredom. Boredom leads to irritability. Irritability leads me toward vices and distractions. Rinse and repeat. But almost every time I choose the harder path, I come out the other side with more energy, more joy, and more life. Today is my wife’s 40th birthday. I know going to F3 makes me a better husband. I also knew Qing this morning would require more from me. Less sleep. More effort. More discomfort. But I’ll walk back into my house this morning more alive because I chose to show up. That’s leadership to me. It’s not always some huge moment where everyone is watching. Most of the time, nobody is watching. It’s getting out of bed. Making the call. Having the conversation. Taking the risk. Being present when checking out would be easier. The comfortable path will always be there. Lead right anyway. Choose the harder thing. Show the F@#$ up! SeaLegs out. ⚓
