Do not be afraid; do not be discouraged, for the Lord your God will be with you wherever you go.” (Joshua 1:9) Most of the time courage doesn’t look dramatic. It usually just looks like showing up and trusting God one step at a time. Sometimes I think it’s actually easier to trust God in the big moments of life. The big decisions, the big challenges. Those moments make us turn to Him. But trusting God in the small things can get overlooked. We talked about that this morning. Trusting God in the small things like: Spending intentional time with your family Putting down your phone and being present Admitting when you’re wrong and asking for forgiveness Those moments may seem small, but that’s where a lot of real courage shows up. So whether it’s big or small, remember the promise: You’re not doing it alone. God goes with you.
